Why the price is what it is
Ten to twenty dollars a square foot, and here's exactly where it goes.
The $99 whole-car special buys dyed film, a rushed cut, and a purple rear window in three summers. We're not competing with that. We're competing with doing it once.
- Genuine 3M film, registered. 3M invented the reflective window film category in 1966 and the multilayer optical film in 1998. Your install gets registered under 3M's lifetime residential and automotive warranty for the original owner.
- A clean room, not a parking lot. Contamination is the enemy. Vehicles come inside. Glass gets stripped, scrubbed, and squeegeed before a single sheet is cut.
- Old tint removal is real labor. Baked-on adhesive and shredded dyed film take hours to pull without wrecking defroster lines. We quote it honestly instead of hiding it.
- A one-year workmanship warranty on top. 3M covers the film. We cover our hands.

What we won't tell you.
Kyle's rule: nobody buys twice from a shop that oversold them once.
Security film is not bulletproof.
3M Ultra S800 holds shattered glass in the frame and buys minutes against forced entry. It does not stop a bullet, and anybody who tells you otherwise is selling something.
5% limo tint hurts at night.
It looks incredible in the lot and it's genuinely harder to see out of on a dark mountain road. We'll tell you before we cut, not after.
We don't do glass repair.
No chip repair, no replacement, no wraps, no PPF. Film only. If your glass needs fixing first, we'll point you to someone who does it right.

VLT — visible light transmission — is the number every tint conversation turns on. Lower is darker. It has nothing to do with heat rejection, which is why a nearly-clear ceramic film can outperform a cheap limo tint on a July afternoon.
